Cigna 1Q Net Falls 10% On Charges; Membership, Revenue Grow

Cigna Corp.'s (CI) first-quarter earnings fell 10%, due in part to acquisition costs, as the managed-care company's membership growth contributed to better-than-expected revenue.

The company also raised its full-year earnings estimate to $5.20 to $5.55 a share from its February forecast of $5 to $5.40 a share.
